How To Properly Apply Nail Enamel

How To Properly Apply Nail Enamel

NOTE: IT TAKES ABOUT 24 HOURS FOR THE NAIL ENAMEL TO COMPLETELY DRY THOROUGHLY

TO GET THE BEST RESULTS. FOLLOW THESE POLISHING TECHNIQUES....

1. FIRST PREP THE NAIL,CLEAN THE NAIL PLATE(dehydrate). I RECOMMEND CREATIVE SCRUB FRESH NAIL SURFACE CLEANSER. THE KEY HERE IS TO REMOVE ALL OILS FROM THE NAIL PLATE. YOU CAN ALSO USE NAIL ENAMEL REMOVER TO DEHYDRATE THE NAIL PLATE.
note: It is very essential to remove all oils from the nail plate in order to achieve proper adhesion. Failure to dehydrate the nail plate will hinder
the adhesion process including the base coat and nail enamel.

2. APPLY A BASE COAT. I RECOMMEND CREATIVE NAIL DESIGN STICKY BASE COAT.

note: The base coat is a very important step in creating a favorable atmosphere for proper adhesion of nail enamel.  It also protects the nail plate from
dark nail enamel which can yellow or darken the nail plate.

3. THE BASE COAT SHOULD BE APPLIED THINLY ON THE NAIL PLATE USING ONE STROKE OF THE BRUSH.

note: Very important to apply one thin coat. The base coat must be applied evenly with one stroke in order to provide a favorable surface for nail enamel application.

4. ALLOW BASE COAT TO DRY 3-4 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING THE NAIL ENAMEL.
note: Dry time may vary but is necessary before applying the nail enamel.

5. APPLY THE NAIL ENAMEL.I RECOMMEND CREATIVE NAIL DESIGN NAIL ENAMEL. THE NAIL ENAMEL SHOULD BE APPLIED
THINLY, USING THREE QUICK STROKES OF THE BRUSH (LEFT SIDE OF THE NAIL PLATE,RIGHT SIDE THEN
CENTER),THIS GIVES YOU BETTER COVERAGE.

note: Using thin coats eliminate uneven tacky looking nail enamel.

6. ALLOW FIRST COAT OF THE NAIL ENAMEL TO DRY 3-4 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING A SECOND COAT.
note: Dry time may vary but is necessary before applying the second coat of nail enamel.

7. APPLY A SECOND COAT OF THE NAIL ENAMEL.
note: Use the same application technique as described earlier.

8. SEAL THE NAIL FREE EDGE WITH THE NAIL ENAMEL USING ONE STROKE OF THE BRUSH. CLEAN OFF THE EXCESS.
note: Sealing is a very essential step that helps to eliminate peeling on the free edge. Clean the sidewalls and around the cuticles of excess
nail enamel by applying nail enamel remover on a cotton pad and wrapping it around an orangewood stick. Carefully trace
around the nail to clean off excess.

9. ALLOW NAIL ENAMEL TO DRY 5-7 MINUTES BEFORE APPLYING THE TOP COAT.
note: Dry time may vary but is necessary before applying the top coat.

10. LASTLY, APPLY THE TOP COAT. I RECOMMEND CREATIVE NAIL DESIGN SUPER SHINEY TOP COAT. THIS LAST APPLICATION SHOULD BE APPLIED THINLY, USING ONE STROKE OF
THE BRUSH AND ONLY ONE COAT. ALSO MAKE SURE TO APPLY TOP COAT ACROSS THE FREE EDGE.

note: Very essential step. Top coats help to eliminate chipping on the nail plate and on free edge, gives a perfect shine and protects the nail enamel.

HOW TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY CUTICLES

HOW TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY CUTICLES

THE BEST WAY TO KEEP YOUR CUTICLES MOISTURIZED AND CONDITIONED IS TO CARE FOR THEM ON A DAILY BASIS.
MAINTAINING HEALTHY CUTICLES CAN BE INCORPORATED WITH YOUR SKIN CARE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM.

FOLLOW THIS BASIC SKIN CARE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN HEALTHY CUTICLES AND SKIN.
note: The following is only a basic program. I recommend that you visit your Manicurist for a specially tailored skin care maintenance program made especially for your skin care needs and would help give you maximum results.

1. APPLY DAILY SKIN CARE PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN SHEA BUTTER AND OR COCOA BUTTER.
note: Shea butter is a perfect skin care product that moisturizes the skin deeply.

 2. APPLY DAILY CUTICLE OIL THAT CONTAIN VITAMINS A,D AND E. I RECOMMEND HAKEN CUTICLE OIL.
note: Massage in the cuticle oil along with your skin care product.

3. SCHEDULE BI-WEEKLY APPOINTMENTS WITH YOUR MANICURIST TO GET RECONDITIONING TREATMENTS AND OR PARAFFIN TREATMENTS.
note: Based on your skin care needs you may need to visit your Manicurist more often or less often according to the condition of your nails and skin. Reconditioning Treatments and Paraffin Treatments help to moisturize and soften skin and cuticles.

4. APPLY CUTICLE OIL ALONG WITH YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCT AT NIGHT AND COVER YOUR HANDS WITH SPECIALLY FORMULATED GLOVES TO KEEP IN THE MOISTURE WHILE SLEEPING.
note: This step can be used three times a week based on your skin care needs. Specially formulated gloves can be purchased at most
stores that carry beauty care products.

5. AFTER EACH HAND WASHING APPLY CUTICLE OIL ALONG WITH YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCT TO HELP KEEP YOUR SKIN AND CUTICLES MOISTURIZED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. KEEP YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS NEAR YOUR SINKS FOR EASY ACCESS. ALSO TAKE YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS WITH YOU WHEREVER NECESSARY.
note: Avoid using waterless and or hand sanitizers that dry skin harshly. I recommend Gold Bond Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer
